The Nancy Drew series, including The Clue of the Broken Locket, are books that I began reading as an elementary school student. For me, these books bring back memories of rainy day weekends when there was not much else to do but pick up a good book and get lost in a mystery. Although I do not remember many of the specific details about each “episode” in the series, I keep this one hardback copy from my childhood as reminder of how much I enjoy reading fiction. For me, reading for pleasure has always been a way to relax, unwind, and escape! (Susan Taylor)
