It gives a detailed and entertaining history of my favorite British record label, Creation Records. At almost 800 pages, it gives an in depth account of the bands (Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Primal Scream, House of Love, etc.) and the drama surrounding the recording sessions/record releases. I especially enjoyed the behind-the-scenes anecdotes about some of the more creative artists like Felt and My Bloody Valentine. I’ve never found a more complete record of these late 80’s/early 90’s bands. (Daniel Harris)
