Cold Sassy Tree is my favorite book because I love the narrator’s voice. The story is told as a first person account of turn of the century life in a small Georgia town as seen through a 14 year old boy’s eyes. He relates humorous stories from his family and friends in a way that is insightful and innocent. I can easily visualize myself living in Cold Sassy and becoming friends with Will Tweedy (the narrarator).
